Husky Chat is a simple way to text and email your various groups of friends and contacts. It allows you to set up an unlimited number of groups – each with an unlimited number of contacts. To get started, simply create a group, add members to the group either from your contacts or manually entering them, choose which members to message and send a text, an email or both. Messages will be sent using the native apps on your phone so recipients will not need this app installed...but it will help them when starting their own group messages!

Husky Chat is ideal for work projects, school projects, coaches, sports teams, golfing partners, business networking groups, gamers, families – in short, any time you need to send a text or email to one or more people and don’t want to search through your contacts – again – to find them.

When you create a group, it is assigned a unique code. When your contacts install this app, they can use this group code to “Join” your group. This gives them access to all the members as well and can start their own group messages.

As a security and integrity precaution, once someone has been added as member of a group, ONLY that person can change their information. Additionally, when someone changes any of their information, that change is automatically propagated to every Husky Chat group to which they belong.

The app allows a maximum of 200 recipients for any message at a time. Many if not all carriers have their own, much lower limits. Because Husky Chat uses your native SMS and email apps, your carrier’s messaging limits will apply.

Standard messaging rates may apply as well.

A final bonus to using this app - I named this app "Husky Chat" because my Siberian Husky (whose photo I used for this app) constantly talks to us...and he wins most arguments. We rescued him several years ago from a local shelter after he was found lost and wandering in a nearby city. To help this shelter continue their great work, a percentage of the proceeds from this app will be donated to this and other local animal shelters.
